A new era of software

A Workspace shaped like you

Extend and shape the software you use in realtime

Generic software ships ninety-five features you never asked for, and none of the five you needed.

Build the five. Track your tasks by the kilo of peas, if that is how your business runs.

Chat was never the best interface. It was just the most flexible one — the only place you could ask for the thing no menu had a button for.

That trade is over. Durable workflows, the systems you already run, and agents that work on real machines, fused into one surface instead of bolted beside it.

the workspace

Your agents get what you get.

The machines your work actually runs on. The systems you already have. The people in the room. This is not a tool standing beside your work — it is where the work happens, and it grows a new part whenever you need one.

Runs the monthly invoice export, checks every customer against their credit limit, and files the result in Drive.

Get stuff done, remotely

Remote desktop built right in — unblock an agent or do your own work, from anywhere. Connect every machine you have, under access controls you set.

The nightly export died on the Studio PC again. Can you get it running?

Bob09:41

OrbStack lost full disk access in the update, so I can’t reach the volume. Hop on the machine and approve the dialog for me — one toggle and your password, then I’ll carry on.

Live databases, Drive, records. Whatever an agent touches comes back versioned, next to the thread that asked for it.

August billing run is queued — 41 invoices in the Drive export.

Bob

Reading the export now. I'll check every line against the credit limits in the ledger before anything sends.

Nik

Flag whatever trips a limit instead of sending it.

Bob

Understood. Sending the rest on your go.

Sören

Did the Acme invoices go out?

Bob

All 41 went out at 09:44. Two are over the credit limit — I flagged those instead of sending.

Build the part that is missing

Describe it and it gets built in a branch of your workspace — a playground on your real data, where nothing you break is live. Merge it back when it’s ready.

Pull in what only your network can see

Habitat functions run on your own server or the machine under your desk. They read the database, the share and the system that never goes online, then feed what you built.

Every surface is live. Your team and your agents work the same rows at the same time — you watch their cursors move and their edits land, not a page that went stale while you read it.

our own team

What we replaced with atmOS extensions.

We did not rebuild these products. Not even close. We built the slice of each one our own team actually used, and that was enough to stop paying for the rest.

These are only the tools we happened to replace. You can build anything you need on the same kernel: the custom CRM, the internal system you always wanted, fully agent native.

pull one out

Each one is an extension we built on the atmOS kernel: tasks, notes, calendar, all of it. They all go open source at release, so you start from what already runs here and shape it into your own.

What we didn't replace: touching grass!

Some things are better off outside the workspace.

Replacing everything was never the goal. We brought in what we needed and left the rest where it was. The tools that stayed are even better for it with atmOS.

Frequently asked

How is this different from the SaaS we already pay for?

Generic software has to fit a million companies, so it ships ninety-five features you never asked for and none of the five you needed. Here the platform underneath is generic and the part on top is yours. You add the five, and they sit in the same workspace as everything else.

What can I actually build?

A view of your data that nobody else would want. A file type only your industry uses. A connection to a system no vendor supports. A nightly job that emails a report shaped exactly the way your board reads it. If you can describe it clearly, it can exist here.

How is this different from v0, Lovable or Replit?

Those hand you an app you still have to host and wire into everything else. What an agent builds here installs into the workspace your team already works in, with your data, your permissions and your agents attached to it. It becomes part of your company, not another site to maintain.

What if an agent builds something wrong?

Every tool only gets the permissions it asked for and you granted. Installs are versioned, so you roll one back the way you would roll back a deploy. Every step an agent takes stays on the record, so you can see exactly what it touched.

Where do agents actually run?

On a Habitat, which is any machine you point us at: a teammate's Mac, Linux box or Windows PC, a VPS you own, or a Windows or Linux VM we run for you. One binary turns a machine into one. The agent gets a real shell, real files, and the screen if you let it have it.

Can I use my own Claude or Codex plan?

Yes. atmOS drives Claude Code and Codex on the machine, signed in with the plan your team already pays for, and shows the remaining quota inside the product. Bring-your-own-key works too and skips Joule metering entirely.
